Campfire in February!

Tennessee weather is SO crazy!! In December and January, we had a lot of freezing weather with temperatures down to zero degrees!  Now for the past couple weeks, we've had wonderfully warm weather, getting up as high as 80!  This past Friday was one of those warm days, and after work, my sister and I decided to have a campfire and roast hotdogs and s'mores for supper.  It was so nice out that I might have even been persuaded to go camping (not my favorite thing!), but a storm was coming in later that evening, so we decided it wouldn't be the best time for camping. Nick met us, and we had a great time (although he did have to struggle with his beard to get the marshmallows to his mouth! Haha!)

New Baby Niece

We welcomed a new baby niece into our family last week!  I may be a little biased as her aunt, but I think she is a beautiful baby!  So thankful that everything went well, and that both baby and mama are doing well!

Stallard Photo Shoot

Here's another photo shoot we did at Montgomery Bell State Park!  I've known this girl for years, and she has been an awesome best friend to my sister!  I'm thankful they were willing to let me take their pictures!

Krontz Family

On a very cold day in November, I drove a couple hours east to see my best friend and her little family!  They were visiting from South Carolina, and we had hoped to get some pictures for their Christmas cards, but it was SOOOO cold that day! I did snap a couple, but we were afraid to have the babies out in that weather for more than a couple minutes!  Planning to take a lot more next time they are in the area, and hopefully it will be much warmer, too!

Girard Photo Shoot

Here's another photo shoot that I did before Christmas.  This is one of my sisters and her husband.  We had a lot of fun taking these pictures at Montgomery Bell State Park!  I may have to reconsider taking Nick along as my assistant, though...he is proving to be more of a distraction than a help, especially with the brothers-in-law! Haha!

Moize Family Pictures

Before Christmas, I had the privilege of taking several pictures for family and friends that I plan to post in the very near future.  I was waiting to share until after Christmas, as several were being used for Christmas cards. (Fun fact: all but one of the Christmas cards I received this Christmas had pictures that I had taken! This was exciting for me!)

We've been friends with this family for years, even before some of them were born! 😄  It was a very cold day, but they were all good sports, and I was able to get some great shots of this beautiful family!  And we had a lot of fun in the process!

Handsome Little Guy

Hi everyone! Here is the picture of the day for February 1st! Pretty sure I have the cutest little nephews and nieces around! This little guy was a good sport for awhile, and then when he got tired, Aunt Beka pulled out the chocolate (which resulted in having to edit chocolate off his face! 😁) It was definitely worth it to get that smile!!
